It’s official: the partnership with Les Restos du Cœur has launched! It was a moving moment as Victoria Mandefield, Founder and CEO of Solinum, joined Patrice Douret, President of Les Restos du Coeur, to officially sign this new partnership on April 6th!
According to INSEE, more than 2 million people relied on food aid in 2022. Based on Soliguide’s impact assessment, food aid is the most frequent search, closely followed by requests for housing and employment.
While the core mission of Les Restos du Cœur is to distribute food, their volunteers also handle other requests, such as social support, legal advice, and housing guidance.
Long aware of the need to inform and guide the people they serve, Les Restos had previously developed a tool called the GPS (Social Services Guide). When it came time to consider updating it, Les Restos du Cœur analyzed the needs of their volunteers. Rather than reinventing the wheel, they chose to pool their resources with Soliguide !
"Because in the world of solidarity, we don't have the time or resources to reinvent the wheel: we must act as quickly as possible to respond to an increasingly alarming situation."
Victoria Mandefield, Director of Solinum

The partnership focuses on three main areas:
The main goal is to improve how people are directed to services and streamline their path toward social integration.
Restos du Cœur volunteers are on the front lines, welcoming and guiding people in need everywhere, thanks to their impressive local network. Together, we are convinced that we can help thousands of people in difficulty find the right path. Proper guidance makes the difference between accessing a meal or not, or receiving social support exactly when it is needed most—in short, taking another step toward lasting integration.
