It's a buzzword, talked about everywhere—on slides, in project calls, even in ecosystems that are anything but impactful. The term seems to have lost its meaning. That's why measuring it has never been more crucial. Not because we're obsessed with stats (though maybe a little), and not just to produce a nice report, but to truly understand how we're changing—or failing to change—lives, and how we can improve.
With Soliguide, our guiding principle has always been simple: to enable everyone to find help, at the right time, in the right place.
Not in three months. Not after a dozen phone calls or closed doors.
So this year again, we wanted to know:
Are we truly making a difference? Is Soliguide genuinely useful, or is it just another map gathering dust?
With Soliguide, our guiding principle has always been simple: to enable everyone to find help, at the right time, in the right place. Beyond that, there are other activities we hadn't measured much until now. Since 2020, we've been deeply convinced of the need to create a free, shared, and interconnected solidarity database, so that no one else has to repeat the painstaking work we do daily. Despite this conviction, we've never truly managed to assess its full value.
We surveyed hundreds of stakeholders and listened to people struggling daily. And the results are in. Of course, there's still work to be done. There are still areas to cover, habits to establish, and features to refine. But this evaluation is a breath of fresh air: yes, our compass is pointing in the right direction. Our programs save time, broaden horizons, strengthen connections between stakeholders, and much more.

But this evaluation is a breath of fresh air: yes, our compass is pointing in the right direction. And as after every impact measurement, we ask ourselves:
Do we continue? Yes, we do.
